Job Description

Role Network Engineer L3

Location Primary Preference : Richmond Virginia or Dallas. Texas

Client HCL Technologies

  • A professional with Network Implementation and Support.
  • Experience in handling tickets opened for network related issues and closing on time
  • Install and support LANs WANs network segments Internet and intranet systems.
  • Install and maintain network hardware and software.
  • Evaluate and modify systems performance/parameters as necessary
  • Good experience in installation configuration troubleshooting of CISCO routers like ASR1k. CatalystData center switches like 7k 5k and 2k of nexus.
  • Strong exposure in SDWAN
  • Wireless Cisco / Meraki products
  • Expertise in configuring troubleshooting network topologies like OSPF BGP HSRP VRRP & STP
  • Routing and Switch protocols like BGP EIGRP VLAN CDP VTP STP RIP RSTP WLAN MPLS
  • Excellent knowledge with L3 & L2 Protocols.
  • Redundancy Technologies like: Virtual Scale (CISCO VSS) VCP Virtual Link Trunking (VLT) VRRP HSRP
  • Optimization products : Riverbed Load balancer or any other optimization products
  • Wireless products : Good knowledge in Cisco Local controller and centralized controller along with CISCO APs
  • Exposure in SDWAN
  • Must be comfortable working in 24*7/oncall environment.
  • Must have very good communication and interpersonal skills to work with US clients.
