Offer technical support to clients via telephone
Attend to site call outs
Testing of products
Install maintain and repair electrical and automation systems in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Troubleshoot electrical and automation faults in machinery and control systems.
Program modify and optimize PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (HumanMachine Interface) systems.
Perform routine inspections preventive maintenance and system upgrades.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes safety protocols and quality assurance guidelines.
Read and interpret electrical schematics technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Collaborate with engineers technicians and production teams to improve automation processes.
Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for system improvements.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system modifications.
Grade 12
N3 Certificate Electrical Trade Test or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 35 years of experience in industrial automation electrical maintenance and PLC programming.
Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens Allen Bradley Omron or similar).
Strong understanding of electrical circuits motor control and instrumentation.
Experience with SCADA systems HMIs and networking protocols.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair VSDs (Variable Speed Drives) sensors and actuators.
Knowledge of safety circuits and automation standards.
Valid drivers license
Education
Grade 12 N3 Certificate, Electrical Trade Test, or equivalent qualification.
