Version 1 is looking for an experienced Technical Engineer to join its Application Support team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of solutions for mid to enterprise level organisations. We are looking for an individual who enjoys a fast pace can prioritise workload and is eager to gain industry experience. You will have solid background in Microsoft and/or Oracle technologies with a Continuous Service Improvement mindset. This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to progress their existing skills with a leading Microsoft Gold Partner and Oracle Platinum Partner working with cutting edge technologies.
This exciting opportunity will see the candidate working within a team of experienced technical engineers exercising and developing the wide range of necessary skills that distinguishes a wellrounded consultant:
- The technical ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- The flexibility to move between clients projects technologies.
- A collaborative team member and worked effectively to meet deadlines.
- Develops understanding of clients business applications and users.
- Effectively communicate technical issues to business users.
- Ability to identify recommend and implement continuous service improvements.
- Client facing skills.
Qualifications :
- A Third Level qualification in a Computing discipline or equivalent working experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an applications management support or development role
- Proficiency in using Postman for API testing
- Knowledge of using APIs and HTTP methods (GET POST PUT DELETE)
- Experience with Microsoft Windows/Windows Server a plus
- Applications administration and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrable analytical and problemsolving skills
- Experience in supporting and troubleshooting applications like Share Point Alfresco Form.IO
- Experience installing configuring monitoring maintaining and troubleshooting applications such as Alfresco and Form.IO a plus
- Great Microsoft Excel and Office skills
- Scripting and automation experience (e.g. SQL PowerShell .NET)
