Job Description
Part of NPDL Container Repairs and Sales (CRS) provides full empty container services. In this role you will be steamcleaning washing painting sweeping out containers and completing basic repairs to ensure shipping containers meet specific industry standards.
Qualifications :
About you:
We are looking for someone who is safety conscious with an ability to follow standard procedures. Experience in a port or container yard is an advantage however it will be your positive attitude and drive to succeed that will make you stand you out from the crowd!
You are a selfstarter with a strong work ethic and a commitment to attendance. While prior experience in container repairs would be a strong advantage we are also open to training the right person for the role.
You will also have the ability to pass Ministry of Justice ACC checks and a drug and alcohol test as part of our recruitment process. You will have the right to live and work in New Zealand at the time of applying. The successful candidate may be subject to undergo a Police Check and/or PreEmployment Drug Test.
Hours of Work:
A minimum of 40 hours a week Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am 5.00pm. Flexibility to work overtime to meet operational requirements will be required. Rostered Saturdays 7.30am 12.30pm. Great overtime rates offered!
