Job Purpose:
The General Manager for Milele Zimbabwe will be responsible for overseeing all operations of the company leading business expansion initiatives devising and executing strategies for growth and ensuring profitability in the local automotive market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Zimbabwean automotive industry extensive experience in automotive dealerships and proven leadership skills at top management level to build and lead highperforming teams. This role requires strategic thinking strong market knowledge and an ability to implement successful business strategies that align with Milele Zimbabwes longterm objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for Milele Zimbabwe aligning with both shortterm and longterm company goals.
- Lead the execution of strategic initiatives to expand the business and strengthen Mileles market position in the Zimbabwean automotive sector.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to understand customer trends competitor activity and market conditions to position Milele effectively in the automotive industry.
- Adapt business strategies based on changing market demands and consumer preferences in Zimbabwe.
- Identify new market opportunities and evaluate potential risks in the local automotive market.
- Lead the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities including new dealerships partnerships and regional expansion.
- Oversee the establishment of the new showroom and ensure its success through strong planning and effective management.
- Build manage and mentor a highperforming team across various departments including sales operations finance and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations industry standards and company policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers dealers financial institutions and government entities.
- Represent Milele Zimbabwe in industry events forums and networking opportunities.
Skills required:

- Indepth knowledge of the Zimbabwean automotive market including trends customer behavior and competitor activity.
- Ability to develop and execute longterm business strategies including market expansion and product development.
- Proficient in financial management budgeting and financial forecasting to drive profitability and costeffective decisionmaking.
- Strong background in sales and marketing strategy particularly in the automotive sector.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with partners suppliers and stakeholders.
- Ability to oversee daily operations and ensure highquality customer service and operational efficiency.
Position Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field. A Masters degree or MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the Zimbabwean automotive industry specifically in automotive dealerships sales and operations management.
- Proven Leadership: At least 5 years of experience in a senior management role with a track record of leading teams and successfully expanding business operations.
- Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the local automotive market including key players market dynamics and consumer preferences.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Local languages
