Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Supplier Delivery Follow up for post contracts/LPO:- tracking the delivery time, status, calculating the delays, obtain work confirmation from the respective department. A tracker for supplier follow ups to be maintained & in case of any delivery delays, the same needs to be escalated to team members for further actions.
  • Follow up with HMC, for PHCC orders and arrange transportation by coordinating with HMC and PHCC warehouse team.
  • Prepare Technical & Commercial Evaluation Sheets by reviewing Bidder’s offers for Tender & RFQ.
  • Maintain Database for Non HMC PR/PO Summary, Technically Accepted items etc.
  • Review & Update Implant team with accepted items for CWH Inspection.
  • Arranging samples for evaluation meetings. After evaluation returning the rejected samples to procurement department and storing Accepted samples in our stores with proper logs & identification labels.
  • Storeroom management within Headquarters Maintaining and updating approved vendor/brand information on database and tracking the delivery periods, product ranges, part number etc. for future reference.
  • Tracking RFQ and TAC bidder’s summary sheet
  • Allocate stock based on back-order details.
  • Allocate stock based on urgent request shared from store.
  • Collecting item images from PHCC inventory team and share to SME as per their request to support evaluation.
  • Raise Non-HMC PRs in Oracle as per the details given by planner.
  • Collecting Item SDS (Safety Data Sheet), Manuals, Instructions for Use for sharing to OHS or IPAC department.
  • Scan Technical, Commercial, Delivery notes, Clinical trial etc. and maintain entire Data Records for each TAC.
  • Preparing Work completion certificates & submit to procurement.
  • Give assistance to the team in preparing the departmental KPIs on a periodic basis.
  • Support different stakeholders for Annual stock count in PHCC stores and Central Warehouse.

Desired candidate profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, finance, or similar discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of supply chain management experience, of which 4 years of similar experience in Store coordination, Inventory Management, Database management, Evaluation Samples Management, handling NCRs etc. is required within the government sector in healthcare entities in Qatar.
  • The consultant is expected to have minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience of Oracle ERP & basic knowledge of WMS.
  • Mandatory Excel skills for reporting & analysing.
  • The incumbent should understand the end-to-end SCM business processes and be able to handle the operations daily.
  • Inventory/Supply Chain management.

  • Trouble Shooting, Problem Solving skills.
  • Communication and Organizing skills.
  • Presentation and Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience in Oracle Inventory module.
  • Mandatory English reading, writing, and communication skills.
