APM Project is in need of a Business Analyst to support the data migration project from the RVNS system to the Polarion system. The candidate should be located in or willing to travel to Irvine CA to work onsite at the clients location.
Job Description: Business Analyst Migration Project
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support a critical migration project for a leading medical device company. This role involves transitioning from the current application RVNS to Polarion ensuring seamless management of various processes including Requirements Management Technical Risk Management Test Management and Change Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements and processes related to Requirements Management Technical Risk Management Test Management and Change Management.
Analyze the current RVNS system and identify key functionalities and data that need to be migrated to Polarion.
Develop and execute a detailed migration plan ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements validate processes and ensure stakeholder alignment.
Analyze and document current (Asis) and future (Tobe) business processes.
Create comprehensive business requirement documents.
Collaborate with developers to create functional requirement documents.
Work closely with clients to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including creating detailed test cases.
Manage data migration and data cleanup activities.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows user guides and training materials.
Provide training and support to endusers to ensure a smooth transition to Polarion.
Monitor and report on the progress of the migration project addressing any issues or risks promptly.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the medical device industry.
Strong understanding of Requirements Management Technical Risk Management Test Management and Change Management processes.
Experience with migration projects and familiarity with both RVNS and Polarion applications.
Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
Detailoriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards in the medical device industry.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
Proficiency in creating process documentation and user training materials.
