Job Description

Job Title: Quoting Specialist
Job Location: Woburn MA
Job Type: Full Time

Job Description:

Analyze customer inquiries technical drawings and specifications related to A&D heat exchangers to develop detailed and accurate quotes.

Collaborate with engineering manufacturing and sales teams to gather necessary data including material costs labor estimates and production timelines.

Prepare and present comprehensive quotations ensuring alignment with customer needs and company pricing policies.

Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry standards materials and manufacturing processes specific to heat exchanger products for aerospace and defense applications.

Respond to customer followup questions and revise quotes as needed to secure orders.

Utilize ERP/CRM systems to track quote status document customer interactions and generate reports as required.

Ensure all quotes meet quality compliance and regulatory requirements for the A&D sector.

Assist in identifying opportunities for cost optimization and valueadded solutions during the quoting process.

Requirement:

Bachelors degree in Business Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).

2 years of experience in a quoting sales support or technical customer service role preferably in manufacturing or thermal management industries.

Familiarity with aerospace and defense industry standards and requirements is a plus.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings specifications and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook) and experience with ERP/CRM software (e.g. Oracle Salesforce or similar).

Detailoriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple quotes and deadlines simultaneously.

Team player with a proactive approach to problemsolving and collaboration.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of heat exchanger design materials and manufacturing processes.

Experience working with A&D clients or within a regulated industry.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fastpaced environment.
