Job Description

Business HR Practices

  • To provide strategic support to teams with operational & functional needs
  • Enhance a culture to understand the business to cater to the customer demands and ensure customer delight

Talent Management & OnBoarding

  • Manpower Planning Budgeting Hiring and provide continuous guidance and support to department managers in all aspects of the recruitment and selection
  • Cost Effective Hiring Job Portals Internal References and social media
  • Formulation of Job Descriptions and developing Org structures
  • Induction & OnBoarding: Taking care of all technical HR formalities detailed HR Induction and Plant wise induction
  • Succession Planning & Competency Development: Identification of critical roles HiPos facilitate process of

creation of IDPs

Learning & Development

  • Identifying the training needs and ensure timely execution of training for skill upgradation and competency enhancement
  • Creating a culture of learning aligning individual development with organizational needs
  • To ensure formulation of the annual training calendar training budget and making training arrangements
  • Collating feedback and evaluation of the effectiveness of training program. creating training MIS and working on action points based on these MIS along with leadership team.
  • Accountable for capability development by execution of appropriate training modules for specific employees.

  • Driving various employee engagement & connect initiatives
  • Conducted Great Place to Work Employee Engagement Survey to measure and improve employee engagement through organizational strategies
  • Creation and roll out of R&R framework across organization
  • To enhance the structured employee communication and develop cross functional forums
  • Studying the attrition trend and gauging the people pulse to ensure a more engaged organization
  • Executed various rewards and recognition programs with alignment to the organizations vision
  • Planned and executed various structured employee engagement events like Birthday celebrations festival celebrations annual sports town hall and team building exercises
  • Motivate and support associates for process improvement productivity improvement 5S Kaizen & various safety initiatives

Performance Management

  • Conducting awareness sessions for Managers and Subordinates for Goal Setting Process
  • Lead the performance management cycle right from KRAsetting to performance and employee competency review.
  • Established a culture of ongoing performance feedback and support corporate HR team in conducting & tracking the periodic performance reviews talent assessments and create opportunities for job rotations job sharing special assignments and team projects that enhanced development and performance.
  • Completing Goal / Objective Setting exercise MidYear Reviews EOY Performance Appraisals as per the PMS calendar
  • Facilitating Reporting Manager meetings for review of KRAs
  • Involved in Performance Review Rating Normalization & Recommendations
Employee Relations & Payroll Management

  • Managing relations at a collective and individual level to the advantage of the unit and the employees while meeting the company legal social standards
  • Partnered with CorporateHR & GMManufacturing to negotiate and implement wage settlements & take proactive measures such as Union meetings counselling mediation etc. and take appropriate disciplinary measures.
  • Ensuring Prepayroll process (Attendance input Shift allowance OT hours etc.)
  • Employee database Management

Handling queries/grievances answered and solved on an individual basis.
