We arerecruiting a Sr. Service Engineer for our international client global leader in the development manufacturing and distribution of innovative cooling solutions. With more than 60 years of experience our client offers a comprehensive range of products and systems that leverage cuttingedge technology IoT connectivity and intelligent control software with a focus on industrial water systems for the plastics and food and beverage industry.
The Sr. Service Engineer will report directly to the S&S Manager for LATAM and the Service Manager North America working in the field and assuring a relationship based on trust with clients as well as increasing the presence and positioning of the company.
MISSIONS
- Perform onsite troubleshooting diagnosis and repairs of chillers temperature control systems and related equipment.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to develop and implement effective solutions for complex issues.
- Utilize technical documentation manuals and schematics to assist in equipment repair and maintenance processes.
- Provide training and support to junior technicians and customers on proper equipment usage and maintenance.
- Keep accurate records of service visits equipment repairs and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with the quality and engineering teams to provide feedback for product improvement and innovation.
- Stay up to date with the latest equipment and troubleshooting information.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the equipment.
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
PROFILE
- Bachelors degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in a similar role handling refrigeration and temperature control equipment troubleshooting and repair.
- Full knowledge of industrial refrigeration processes will be seen as a plus.
- Ability to read electrical/mechanical/plumbing drawings and logic manuals.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with the capacity to handle complex technical challenges effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team showing high levels of selfmotivation and initiative.
- Availability and willingness to travel to various customer sites in Mexico and Central America when required (5070% of the time).
- Proficient in reading and writing in English with conversational English skills as a plus.
