Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Electrical Engineering and experience in the Electrical and Automation sector. This role involves driving sales growth providing technical support and developing strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the electrical and automation sector. Develop and maintain relationships with clients understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Technical Support: Provide presales and postsales technical support to clients. Explain complex technical concepts and product features to nontechnical stakeholders.
Product Knowledge: Maintain uptodate knowledge of electrical and automation products including their applications benefits and limitations. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers.
Proposal Preparation: Prepare and deliver technical proposals quotes and sales presentations. Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends customer needs and competitor activities. Provide feedback to the management team to help shape product development and marketing strategies.
Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and longterm client relationships.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities customer interactions and project status. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market conditions.
Qualifications:
Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Previous experience in sales within the electrical and automation industry is preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical systems automation technologies and related products. Ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
Sales Skills: Proven ability to generate leads close sales and achieve sales targets. Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a proactive approach to addressing customer needs and challenges.
