Job Title: STEAM (Early Years)

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and innovative STEAM Teacher to join our Early Years team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Early Childhood Education with a focus on STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics). This role involves designing and delivering interactive STEAMbased learning experiences fostering creativity critical thinking and problemsolving skills in young learners while also cultivating a love for reading and exploration in the school library.
Key Responsibilities
STEAM Instruction:
- Develop and implement handson playbased STEAM activities tailored to early learners.
- Integrate STEAM concepts into daily learning through storytelling experiments and interactive projects.
- Use ageappropriate technology and tools to encourage problemsolving and creativity.
- Foster inquirybased learning encouraging curiosity and exploration in children.
Library & Literacy Development:
- Integrate literacy with STEAM concepts to create a multidisciplinary learning experience.
Classroom & Student Engagement:
- Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Use diverse teaching methodologies to accommodate different learning styles.
- Assess and track students progress providing feedback to parents and school leadership.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate STEAM and literacy across different subjects.
Professional Development & Collaboration:
- Stay updated with the latest trends in STEAM education and early childhood literacy.
- Participate in teacher training sessions workshops and collaborative curriculum planning.
- Engage with parents and guardians to support children s learning beyond the classroom.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Early Childhood Education STEAMrelated fields or Library Science.
- Teaching certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an early childhood setting with a focus on STEAM integration.
- Strong understanding of childcentered learning approaches and handson teaching methodologies.
- Passion for technologyenhanced learning and early literacy development.
- Excellent communication creativity and classroom management skills.
