This is a remote position.
TPF Recruitment is exclusively supporting a fantastic independent accountancy practice based in Kent who is looking for a Part Time Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper to join their team on a remote basis but you must be based in Kent! This is a really exciting opportunity to join a fastgrowing modern and innovative accountancy practice.
Our client is a big advocate for Xero software and they utilise the latest technologies. They also promote a very positive and approachable working environment which is client focused as well as collaborative and progressive.
As a Remote Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper for this Kentbased accountancy practice you will be responsible for proving weekly bookkeeping services for the firms clients within the construction sector as well as monthly and quarterly VAT returns.
You will work on a remote basis but you must be based in Kent as the team get together every couple of months.
Requirements
- Be based in Kent
- Have at least 2 year s experience in bookkeeping and VAT preparation
- Be proficient in using Xero Dext and Excel Have strong communication skills
- 34 days a week or equivalent hours

You may be AAT-qualified or someone who has developed your career through hands-on experience and is looking to further build on this in a practical role. You must have experience in bookkeeping and preparing VAT returns within an accountancy practice of any size. You should have at least two years, preferably more, of experience in these areas within an accountancy practice environment.
