The Role
As a KS1 Teacher you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of your Year 1 and Year 2 students.
  • Create a positive classroom environment where children feel safe inspired and eager to learn.
  • Assess and track progress providing constructive feedback to support student development.
  • Encourage independence and critical thinking preparing students for the next stage in their learning journey.
  • Work closely with colleagues to share ideas and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians celebrating student progress and addressing any challenges.
  • Engage in professional development and take advantage of excellent mentoring opportunities for ECTs.

What Were Looking For

  • A Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Passion for teaching in KS1 and a commitment to inspiring young learners.
  • A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students staff and parents.
  • A proactive adaptable and enthusiastic approach to classroom teaching.
