The Role
As a KS1 Teacher you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of your Year 1 and Year 2 students.
- Create a positive classroom environment where children feel safe inspired and eager to learn.
- Assess and track progress providing constructive feedback to support student development.
- Encourage independence and critical thinking preparing students for the next stage in their learning journey.
- Work closely with colleagues to share ideas and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians celebrating student progress and addressing any challenges.
- Engage in professional development and take advantage of excellent mentoring opportunities for ECTs.
What Were Looking For
- A Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Passion for teaching in KS1 and a commitment to inspiring young learners.
- A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students staff and parents.
- A proactive adaptable and enthusiastic approach to classroom teaching.
