Job Description

Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

Location: Boise ID 83705

Duration: 1 Year or Full time (options for 26 weeks contract)

Start Date: April 2025

Qualification

Education: Masters doctoral or equivalent degree from a psychology program accredited by the APA (American Psychological Association)

License: Current unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Experience:

  • Minimum of five years experience working with peer support personnel who have been trained in and use the CISM response protocols as taught by the ICISF
  • Trauma trained and significant work experience with emergency responders or public safety

Responsibilities

  • Provide crisis intervention services to federal agency employees involved in critical incidents.
  • Utilize the International Critical Incident Stress Management (ICISF) model for traumainformed crisis intervention.
  • Work as part of a Critical Incident Peer Support (CIPS) team to support affected employees.
  • Conduct individual and group crisis debriefings to help employees process trauma.
  • Provide onsite support at locations designated by the requesting agency.
  • Deliver training sessions on CISMrelated topics using ICISF curriculum when requested.
  • Support National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) and agency training courses as needed.
