Our client an international F&B company is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
Maintain accurate and current financial records for the organization including the documentation of transactions expenses and income.
Carry out daily bookkeeping tasks such as reconciling bank statements managing accounts payable and receivable and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
Ensure the integrity of the general ledger and conduct monthly balance sheet reviews.
Ensure that financial management indicators are reliable and address any issues within agreed timelines.
Prepare and generate financial statements reports and summaries to provide insights into the organization s financial health and performance.
Continuously monitor and update cash flow on a weekly basis to ensure effective management and proactively inform the Senior Finance Manager of any necessary actions to maintain positive cash flow.
Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations ensuring that financial practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Oversee local tax matters and ensure timely tax payments complying with all local legislative requirements.
Collaborate with external auditors to ensure the timely production of the Audit Financial Statement (AFS).
Perform adhoc tasks and reporting as requested by the Senior Finance Manager.
Provide weekly reports to the Country Manager of the branch.
Assist the Country Manager with cost control activities.
Requirements
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting Audit or related fields.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in an accounting role.
Proficient in English communication and reading comprehension.
Strong communication skills
Detailoriented and analytical ability
Good at working independently and skilled at delegating tasks while retaining responsibility and accountability
