Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales EMEA the Sales Director will lead the New Logo sales function covering the EMEA territory for our EPM and Controllership Business Units.

This critical position will be responsible for leading an existing sales team of 6 Sales Executives who are primarily new business focused.  

The role involves communicating implementing and executing sales activities and strategies to maximise sales bookings in line with corporate objectives. You will also assume responsibility for accurately forecasting monthly quarterly and annual bookings.

You will be highly capable of developing and managing executive relationships by conducting business driven discussions whilst also lead negotiation planning strategy and execution. 

This position is a hybrid working opportunity.

 

 What will you do 

  • Manage a direct sales team to deliver software bookings goal
  • Work in conjunction with Professional Services team to drive services revenue into the region
  • Develop and coach a specialist team of expert sellers to meet the highest standards of sales process and success.
  • Direct sales activities prioritise efforts and hold the team accountable for building pipeline and executing each phase of the sales cycle.
  • Drive a structured MEDDIC process with deal management.
  • Coach and mentor sales team to uncover customer needs develop champions present specific use cases demonstrate the differentiated value of insightsoftware products and services and negotiate favourable pricing and terms by selling value and return on investment.
  • Working in a fastpaced environment closing large strategic deals

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong leadership experience in enterprise software sales
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue growth targets
  • Proven ability to influence develop and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach
  • Demonstrated expertise teaching and coaching sales teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written
  • Established track record of coordinating and collaborating across multiple functions to close revenue
  • Ability to travel as needed throughout the region (up to 40%)
  • Ability to work from home office and our London EMEA HQ

Preferred:

  • Understanding of EPM and Financial Controllership solutions
  • ERP familiarity
  • Experience working with private equity
  • Multilingual skills
