About the Role
We are seeking a passionate dynamic and dedicated English Teacher to join our supportive and forwardthinking team at a school with an Ofsted Good rating. As an English Teacher you will have the opportunity to inspire students across KS3 to KS5 fostering a love for literature language and critical thinking. You will play a key role in developing students analytical and creative writing skills as well as their confidence in communication and selfexpression.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and thoughtprovoking English lessons to students from KS3 to KS5 encouraging a passion for reading writing and discussion.
- Guide students in critical analysis of literature developing their ability to interpret and evaluate a range of texts.
- Support students in developing their creative writing and essaywriting skills ensuring they achieve their full potential.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident expressing their ideas and interpretations.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the English curriculum sharing ideas for improvement and innovation.
- Take an active role in extracurricular activities such as debating clubs creative writing workshops and theatre productions.

About You
To be considered for this role you will need:
- A degree in English Literature or a related subject.
- A formal teaching qualification with QTS (PGCE or equivalent).
- Experience teaching English at KS3 to KS5 with a passion for inspiring students to excel.
- Strong communication organisational and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive engaging and inspiring learning environment.
