Job Description
Project/Client: banking
Location: EU (Baltic States PL Preferred)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Platform Security Engineer to automate and enhance system hardening processes for Windows environments using CIS benchmarks. The role involves working with GPOs Chef Terraform and AWS to improve compliance and security posture.
MustHave Requirements:
- Strong expertise in automating golden image hardening (Windows Server)
- Experience with Packer Jenkins Terraform Chef Vagrant and AWS
- Deep knowledge of CIS Level 1 benchmarks and security best practices
- Experience implementing Windows Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
- Ability to collaborate with CloudOps DevOps and security teams to remediate misconfigurations
- Experience in documentation and knowledge transfer
- Experience in banking industry
Key Responsibilities:
- Harden Windows OS images using CIS benchmarks and automate compliance with Chef
- Address misconfigurations in newly built assets and work on security retrofitting
- Support security automation and improve compliance reporting
- Collaborate on RCSA mitigation and security best practices
- Assist with knowledge transfer and documentation
- Familiarity with WIZ outputs is a plus
