Job Title: Cloud Cybersecurity Project Manager
Job Description:
The Cloud Cybersecurity Project Manager III will manage a complex Cloud Cybersecurity project. This role requires a highly experienced professional with 8 years of advanced security project management experience. The position will oversee a project that involves web information systems information systems controls web application development and cybersecurity strategy. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing up to three staff members including:
- One Application/Software Developer or Cloud Security Analyst
- Two Network Security Analysts (to be selected after reviewing project scope and timelines).
- In cases of resource limitations the Project Manager is expected to independently handle IT tasks and demonstrate creativity and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the project budget and timeline using enterprise portfolio project management software.
- Coordinate with the Managed Services vendor to ensure ontime underbudget and withinscope project implementation.
- Adhere to the Department of Information Resources (DIR) Project Management Framework and maintain compliance with Health and Human Services (HHS) and DSHS Security and IT Standards.
- Provide oversight and leadership for staff augmentation contractors.
- Ensure the best value for DSHS while implementing security solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years (Required): Advanced security project management experience including DLP implementation web information systems and IT security controls.
- 8 years (Required): Experience managing largescale projects for implementing complex DLP and vulnerability management applications.
- 8 years (Required): Experience managing up to three staff augmentation contractors (Two Network Security Analysts & One Application/Software Developer/Cloud Security Analyst).
- 8 years (Required): Expertise in budget and timeline management using enterprise project management tools.
- 8 years (Required): Strong knowledge of DIR Project Management Framework and compliance with HHS/DSHS Security & IT Standards.
- 8 years (Preferred): Experience designing building and securing web information systems using SaaS vulnerability management and DLP applications.
- 5 years (Preferred): Ability to handle resource limitations and independently perform various complex IT tasks with creativity and adaptability.
- 3 years (Preferred): Experience working with HHSC Security or Network Engineers at HHSC.
Certification Requirement:
- PPM Certification required.
