Job Description:
Leads development efforts to assess and document current and target state high level existing processes and functional needs across the enterprise. Work with the customers and other enterprise developers to formulate policies and plans that support the enterprise goals implement efficient end to end processes and leverage use of existing IT assets. Align strategic goals and objectives with key business and IT initiatives. Work to develop an integrated view of the enterprise using a repeatable approach cohesive framework industry standard techniques and best practices
Top must have skills:
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and container orchestration(Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of database technologies (e.g. PostgreSQL MongoDB DynamoDB Oracle and Redshift).
- Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React.js Vue.js) and backend technologies like Java Python Node.js Bash Powershell and designing/implementing Restful APIs..
- Comprehensive understanding of modern frontend and backend frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of DevSecOps and CI/CD best practices while using DevOps tools like JenkinsSonarQubeNexus/ArtifactoryTwistlockSAST/DAST/SCAUCDDockerMavenGradle and version control tools like Gitlab Github and Bitbucket Infrastructure As Code (IaC) tools like Terraform CloudFormation and Ansible.
- Strong focus on microservices architecture serverless computing and API management.
- Working Knowledge and understanding with AI/ML integrations RBAC principles in order to implement best security practices/processes eventdriven architectures and distributed systems and recommending minimal/zero downtime deployment strategies.
- Expertise in implementing good logging standards troubleshooting skills leading the Root cause analysis Blameless post mortems sessions possess good triaging capabilities understanding of what error codes/message mean after analyzing the logs/traces/metrics.
- Expertise in designing highly scalable faulttolerant and costeffective cloud infrastructure observability best practices distribute tracing and proactive incident management practices resilience architectural design patterns such as Bulkhead Circuitbreaker Retry Timeout etc
- Possess good proactive thinking in minimizing/anticipating failures and implementing solutions that can target toward achieving minimal MTTD/MTTR
- Expertise in designing solutions with ShiftLeft approach and possess great experience with testing concepts (BDDTDDUnitRegressionSynthetic).
- Proficiency with AI GenAI ML Python Libraries NLTK Transformers Spacy and SciPy. Excellent verbal / written communication skills relationship management skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Must have skills:
- Good working knowledge of reliability aspects like Error BudgetsSLISLOSLAsHigh Availability Disaster Recovery Monitoring golden signals resilience architectural design patterns such as Bulkhead Circuitbreaker Retry Timeout etc.
- Expertise in chaos engineering solutions utilizing tools such as FISChaos Toolkit (similar Chaos tools) ResiliencyHub create disaster recovery plans and execute failover tests.
- Expertise in creating monitoring solutions working knowledge of one of the tools like AWS CloudwatchSplunkDynatrace(similar APM Tools) and OpenTelemetry.
Education/Experience:
- 8 years of related experience in their specific area with experience leading teams on projects with similar scope and complexity.
- Experience as a lead developer for projects similar in scope and responsibility
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) or relevant cloud certifications.
