Job Description
Job Title: Civil Designer
Overall Purpose
The role is to produce designs for engineering projects ranging from 11kV through to 132kV for Contestable works as an ICP and clientside balance of plant works.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of a project.
- Creating drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D Revit & Civil 3D. Working knowledge of BIM
- Resolve technical problems and issues to support the delivery of projects or design objectives.
- Prepare technical reports for both internal and external purposes.
- Provide technical administrative support including project advice and design assessments.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Creating Design Risk Assessments.
- Assisting junior or less experienced design engineers in their development.
- Produce detailed designs from 11kv132kv in compliance with Industry standards within time and budget.
