Job Description: Video Editor
Responsibilities
- Create engaging shortform videos (1560 seconds) for Instagram TikTok and YouTube Shorts
- Edit a mix of lifestyle content and behindthescenes footage of jewelry making
- Produce educational and myth buster style videos about diamonds and jewelry
- Maintain quick turnaround times while ensuring highquality edits
- Adapt content to showcase luxury jewelry products effectively
Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing particularly for social media platforms
- Proficiency in video editing software
- Strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Keen eye for detail especially when showcasing luxury products
- Creative approach to storytelling through shortform video content
Scope
- Parttime position 20 hours per week with potential to transition to fulltime (40 hours/week)
- Remote work arrangement
- Collaborate with a Torontobased team
