About the job:
As an Electrical Design Engineer you will be integral in supporting and executing the design of Electrical Services for projects from start to finish. Your role involves designing and specifying Electrical Building Services systems ensuring quality control throughout the design and installation phases and preparing detailed tender packages that include reports analyses and recommendations. You will collaborate with design teams and clients to develop project scopes and maintain the organisations electrical design standards.
About you:
- This role offers a hybrid remote arrangement in Ireland requiring attendance at the Dublin office as determined by the teams schedule.
- Honours Degree Chartered an advantage but not essential
- 4 years experience withData Centreengineering projects
- Understand in detail CIBSE BS IS and EN standards
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam AutoCad and REVIT
- Knowledge of other engineering analysis software is an advantage
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication presentation and organisational skills
- Communicative with an ability to liaise with clients architects and project managers
- Familiarity with additional engineering analysis software is considered a plus.
Your daytoday activities:
- Assist with the design of Electrical Services for projects from their initial concept through to their completion.
- Handle the specification and design of Electrical Building Services systems.
- Perform ongoing quality checks and controls during design and installation phases.
- Generate comprehensive tender packages including detailed reports analyses and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the design team and clients to define and develop project scopes.
- Ensure adherence to the organisations electrical design standards.
