We are looking for a highly motivated handson Cloud Architect (gn). The position is available at our headquarters in Hasselt Belgium on a fulltime basis.

As a Cloud Architect (gn) at TrendMiner you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing a cloud infrastructure and architecture that aligns with our companys goals and technical vision. You will be responsible for creating architectural designs and working closely with DevOps teams to implement scalable reliable highperformance and maintainable software solutions. Additionally you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to define technology roadmaps and drive innovation within the organization.

Your Role

As a handson Cloud Architect you will be responsible for designing optimizing and maintaining cloud and hybrid infrastructure that supports our applicationsbuilt with Java Python Golang and other technologiesdeployed across AWS and onpremises environments.
In this role you will:

• Architect and optimize cloud solutions on AWS to support a multitenant SaaS environment while considering performance security and compliance.
• Design hybridcloud strategies to enable efficient communication between onpremises deployments and AWS services.
• Balance cost and performance by selecting the right compute storage and networking components while leveraging automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery by implementing redundancy backups and failover mechanisms both across regions and within onpremises environments.
• Define security best practices including identity and access management (IAM) network segmentation and data encryption to protect sensitive customer data.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines monitoring and deployment automation while ensuring infrastructure consistency.
• Provide guidance on containerization and Kubernetesbased solutions for microservice applications.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging cloud technologies to enhance our cloud infrastructure.Success in this role requires deep expertise in AWS architecture an understanding of onpremises infrastructure and the ability to work crossfunctionally with engineering DevOps and security teams to deliver a robust scalable cloud platform.

Your Skills

• Strong knowledge of AWS and SaaS Architecture preferably in the field of data analytics or business intelligence
• Experience with modern cloudnative technologies such as Kubernetes ArgoCD and Helm.
• Indepth knowledge of software design principles patterns and best practices
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Go and Java with nice to have Python.
• Demonstrated expertise in machine learning timeseries and big data analytics is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in English and preferably Dutch
