Job Description
Surgical Technician
Location: Denver CO
Pay Range: $26.00 $39.01/hr (based on experience)
Shift Differentials:
Evening & Weekend: $2.50/hr
Night: $5.50/hr
Schedule: FullTime Various Shifts
SignOn Bonus & Relocation Assistance: Case by Case Basis
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technician to join a dynamic healthcare team. In this role you will assist during surgical procedures ensuring all equipment instruments and sterile supplies are prepared and readily available. This position offers the opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma Center environment with exposure to a wide variety of surgical specialties.
Key Responsibilities
Set up the operating room with required equipment and sterile supplies.
Apply advanced knowledge of aseptic techniques during procedures.
Assist the surgical team with instruments and supplies as needed.
Break down cases at the end of procedures and prepare for subsequent cases.
Communicate professionally with colleagues patients and external partners.
Qualifications
Certifications:
Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
CST Certification preferred
Registration as a Surgical Tech with the Colorado Division of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)
Education: Graduation from an accredited Operating Room Technician program.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technician.
Skills: Advanced proficiency in the scrub role across a variety of surgical specialties.
