Your Mission
As a Financial & Commercial Officer you will provide financial and commercial leadership across our Defence & Decommissioning business. You will support P&L leaders oversee budgeting forecasting and project financial controls to maximise profitability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage budget and forecast templates ensuring accurate and timely financial data.
Consolidate and review budget/forecasts analysing variances and key financial assumptions.
Monitor monthly P&L performance identifying risks opportunities and financial trends.
Oversee project financial controls including WIP invoicing PO coverage and accounts receivables.
Support audits (customer government financial internal quality).
Develop commercial and financial models for largescale bid/proposal submissions.
Drive financial project closure and ensure maximum profitability.
Qualifications :
Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential Skills
ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
Strong experience in financial and/or project controls.
Proficiency in computerised accounting systems (IFS knowledge is a plus).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including data manipulation.
Proven ability to analyse cost drivers and improve profitability.
Desired Skills
NEC4 contract knowledge or training.
Experience in financial modelling for joint ventures and supply chain partnerships.
Background in largescale engineering or infrastructure projects.
