We are looking for a Team Leader to join our residential home in Bacup. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role support a dedicated team and help shape the future of young people in our care.
The Role
Leading and supporting a team of Residential Support Workers.
Ensuring a safe supportive and nurturing environment for young people.
Working closely with the Registered Manager & Deputy Manager to deliver highquality therapeutic care.
Acting as a role model for staff and young people promoting positive relationships and development.
Implementing and reviewing care plans risk assessments and safeguarding policies.
Supporting staff development through mentoring and supervision.
What Were Looking For
NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Essential
Minimum 1 year of shiftleading/keyworking experience in a residential setting Essential
2 years of experience in residential childcare Desired
Knowledge of PACE therapeutic parenting and traumainformed care approaches.
Strong leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
A passion for supporting young people and helping them thrive.
