For the Schiphol Group we are looking for a Data Solution Architect.

Data AI and Analytics
At the Royal Schiphol Group we have established a Data AI & Analytics department (DnA) tasked with accelerating our groupwide transition to a truly datadriven organization. This department oversees the strategic use of AI data and applied data science across the Royal Schiphol Group to identify growth opportunities and areas for innovation with new data products and services. Responsibilities also include data governance & quality frameworks our BI function and the close connection with the rest of IT to create a futureproof data infrastructure. The DnA department includes our central data teams responsible for our data foundation as well as providing scalable data AI and BI capabilities to the whole group as well as data teams that sit embedded in the different parts of Schiphol.
What will you do as a Data Solution Architect
* Work closely with our data product development teams and assist them in creating valuable meaningful and robust data solutions.
* Design and and maintain architecture solution designs and documents for AI and BI data solutions.
* Create standardized and reusable design patterns.
* Work as a team player with fellow architects and create the overall architectural frameworks for DnA.
* Align the architecture of the Data & Analytics Platform with other data platforms environments and initiatives within Schiphol Group.
Your Profile
You have at least 3 years of demonstrably relevant experience in designing and integrating architectures and advising development teams with a focus on AI Analytics and/or BI. A Data Solution Architect possesses sound knowledge of both complex dataintensive IT landscapes and business operations.
You thrive in an agile development environment. The ability to advise on the construction of new digital functionality based on experience is essential. As are knowledge of technologies platforms and solutions in the field of data. The emphasis in this role is on Big Data / Data Lake platforms in the cloud Data Cataloguing (Advanced) Analytics and full utilisation of these resources to provide data propositions and services.
As a data solution architect you possess the following skills: customer focus ability to influence analytical skills innovative thinking listening skills and result orientation.
Knowledge and expertise
* Knowledge of data integration infrastructures general IT infrastructures and cloud solutions.
* Knowledge and experience in Archimate modelling.
* Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following: data modelling techniques data management data governance and data science is recommended.
* Knowledge of Big Data techniques and tooling (visualisation presentation data management collection and storage).
* Knowledge and experience of streaming platforms like Apache Kafka.
* Creative in coming up with ideas and solutions.
* Good spoken and written command of English and Dutch.
The application is for 24 hours of which Thursday is an office day (the rest is mutually negotiable).

Leveranciers van kandidaten behoren op de hoogte te zijn van de geldende wet en regelgeving op het gebied van arbeidsvoorwaarden en de (Schiphol) cao. Deze inzet valt in schaal 12 van de Schiphol cao.
Voor de opdrachten binnen Schiphol is een VGB of VOG een vereiste. De startdatum wordt pas besproken na ontvangst van de VOG of de bevestiging vanuit de VGB bij Magnit.
De kandidaat beschikt over een legitimatiebewijs (een paspoort of identiteitskaart) welke bij intake n op de startdatum van het contract van de kandidaat geldig is en ter controle kan worden overlegd.
