Job Description
Our esteemed client an established MNC is searching for a Field Engineer (AGV):
Job Responsibilities
- Perform commissioning of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) at customer sites including onsite user acceptance testing.
- Ensure the reliability and performance of AGV fleets network systems and customer site infrastructure.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for technical issues beyond the capabilities of firstlevel field technicians.
- Monitor AGV fleet operations and proactively address faults before they impact customer operations.
- Offer technical guidance to customers on operational issues software updates and general maintenance.
- Maintain uptodate records of AGV configurations including both software and hardware settings.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to enhance AGV performance and reliability.
- Contribute to the development of monitoring detection and automation tools for failure prevention and system optimization.
- Assist in the creation of user manuals customer guides FAQs and best practices documentation.
- Support the design and implementation of AGV missions using proprietary mission description tools.
- Conduct presales technical assessments and provide support for proofofconcept demonstrations.
- Install and manage infrastructure components such as reflective markers and networking equipment.
- Maintain strong relationships with customer representatives to ensure high levels of satisfaction and service quality.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant technical field such as Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Science or Robotics.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a customerfacing technical role preferably related to AGVs.
- Proficiency in Linux (preferably Ubuntu) including administration tools and Bash/Python scripting.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving systemlevel and devicelevel issues in Linux environments.
- Familiarity with firewalls VPNs and network security technologies.
- Working knowledge of SSH DNS and other network protocols.
- Willingness to troubleshoot electromechanical components and improve system reliability.
- Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS) command line and graphical tools is an advantage.

- Salary: Up to SGD 5000 AWS VB (2 Months)
- Working Location: Joo Koon
- Working Hours: 5 days work
- 1 year contract and permanent position available
