Job Description
Are you an experienced SHEQ Compliance Lead within the utilities industry looking for your next career move
We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team at OCU Group based in Borehamwood Hertfordshire. As the SHEQ Compliance Lead you will play a key role in driving operational excellence and client satisfaction by leading internal audits scheduling maintaining compliance registers and overseeing general business compliance.
What We Are Looking For:
You will be the primary contact with a main focus on CDM and Frameworks while fostering a culture of quality across the organisation. Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development and maintenance of OCUs SHEQ Management System to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards.
- Assisting with external audits and maintaining uptodate compliance practices.
- Guiding operational teams to stay compliant with changing legislation and communicating these changes effectively.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders regulatory bodies and auditors.
To succeed in this role
You should be qualified with a NEBOSH General / Construction standard or equivalent and have significant experience in Health Safety Environment and Quality. Additionally holding a CQI / IRCA Internal Auditor certification is preferred.
