Job Description
Terms: 100% Remote Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect implement and optimize enterpriselevel Test Data Management (TDM) solutions ensuring efficiency and scalability for the organizations needs.
- Develop strategies for data masking data subsetting synthetic data generation and data profiling to ensure secure and relevant data for testing purposes.
- Design and implement TDM solutions for both onpremises and cloud environments (AWS Azure GCP) ensuring compatibility and performance across platforms.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations (such as GDPR HIPAA) by implementing robust data obfuscation techniques and following best practices.
- Leverage tools like Broadcom Test Data Manager (CA TDM) BMC File Aid X9 Assist and Voltage to facilitate secure and efficient test data provisioning.
- Lead data integration and migration projects including mainframe to UNIX migrations ensuring smooth transition of data across systems.
- Implement Informatica IICSbased data integration solutions and optimize performance for databases such as DB2 and cloud storage environments.
- Develop Pythonbased automation scripts to streamline data provisioning and validation improving the efficiency of the TDM processes.
- Implement and maintain Dockerbased test data environments to ensure consistency and scalability of test data management.
- Collaborate closely with QA teams developers and business analysts to define test data requirements and provide support for endtoend testing cycles.
- Oversee test data reservation creation of golden copies and environment refresh cycles to maintain data accuracy and relevancy.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to TDM engineers and QA teams fostering knowledgesharing and skillbuilding within the team.
- Drive continuous improvements innovation and automation in TDM best practices ensuring the organization stays ahead of emerging technologies and techniques.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years in Test Data Management (TDM) Test Data Engineering and Mainframe Development with a deep understanding of the complexities of managing test data.
- Proficiency with TDM tools such as Broadcom TDM BMC File Aid X9 Assist and Voltage for secure and efficient test data management.
- Strong experience with databases such as Oracle SQL Server DB2 PostgreSQL Greenplum and Hadoop Hive for data provisioning and management.
- Handson experience with cloudbased data obfuscation tools in AWS environments.
- Strong coding skills in COBOL JCL Shell Scripting Python and Java for data manipulation automation and integration.
- Experience with middleware and API testing (SOAP UI RESTful APIs Web Services) to ensure seamless integration with test data systems.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible and Puppet for managing configurations and automating processes.
- Experience with version control and defect management tools such as HP ALM JIRA MKS ChangeMan and Endevor for tracking changes and managing project workflows.
- Expertise in automation frameworks and the use of Excel Macros for improving test data management processes and optimizing workflow efficiency.
- Health Insurance Experience: Recent experience (minimum 4 years) in the health insurance industry is required as this role involves handling sensitive data and adhering to specific regulatory standards.
- Proven ability to lead crossfunctional teams and drive TDM best practices across a variety of organizational levels.
