Job Description

The QHSE training & communication support will be responsible for the development of QHSE related training material and offers as well communication support for the QHSE department.

He/she reports to the corporate QHSE training Manager and will work in close collaboration with other members of the QHSE team and in particular with the Corporate QHSE Manager in charge of digitalisation.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Create content for QHSE related trainings in line with the need of the QHSE team by using related digital tools.
  • Deliver QHSE related training (as part of internal development program).
  • Assist the Corporate QHSE director with specific and ad hoc internal communication projects (events periodical newsletter campaigns).
  • Assist the QHSE training manager with the development of training material and the administration of the IOSH working and managing safely related training certification.
  • Assist the Corporate lead QHSE digitalisation with the development of training material related to the BESIX Management system and OASIS.
  • Be able to deliver OASIS trainings and support the rollout of OASIS in the regional entities. (OASIS BESIX QH3SE risk management digital solution)
  • Provide assistance to the OASIS end users as part of and in close cooperation with the OASIShelp team.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor Degree preferably in Health & Safety and/or communication. Other competence in Quality and environmental fields a plus.
  • A minimum working experience in QHSE fields preferably in the construction industry.
  • Creative mind able to project hem/herself in the position of the enduser to define the right training content.
  • Client oriented analytical and problemsolving mindset able to work autonomous.
  • Flexible with good organizational skills enabling you to manage priorities and several tasks at the same time.
  • Team player that proactively proposes solutions and improvements.
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English and Dutch (additional languages are a plus).
  • Able and willing to deliver training in front of an audience.
  • Digital handson MS Windows MS Office and SharePoint are a must.
  • Willing to occasionally travel domestically on short missions.
