Job Purpose
The Procurement Lead will primarily be responsible for the timely procurement and delivery of highquality lowcost products and proper processing of assigned orders.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Strategic Procurement Planning and Leadership
Develop and implement a regional procurement strategy that aligns with the Group s overall business objectives.
Establish and lead a highperforming procurement team across the Group ensuring a standardized & efficient procurement framework.
Drive cost optimization initiatives ensuring the best value for money while maintaining quality and compliance.
Identify and mitigate procurementrelated risks ensuring business continuity and sustainability.
2. Operational Excellence and Compliance
Develop and implement procurement policies procedures and best practices across all countries operations.
Lead negotiations with key suppliers to establish strategic partnerships leveraging groupwide economies of scale.
Monitor supplier performance contract compliance and service delivery to ensure highquality and costeffective procurement.
Ensure adherence to regulatory and ethical procurement standards mitigating risks related to fraud corruption and supply chain disruptions.
3. Cost Control & Budget Management
Monitor and control procurement costs to align with budgetary constraints.
Track and report on procurement expenditures and savings initiatives.

Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies industry regulations and ethical standards.
Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop mitigation strategies.
Maintain documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes. Stakeholder Coordination
Work closely with internal departments (e.g. finance operations logistics) to ensure smooth procurement processes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with regional and international suppliers ensuring a diverse and competitive supplier base. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management on costsaving opportunities and procurement trends. Process Improvement & Innovation
Continuously review procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Drive digital transformation in procurement implementing eprocurement tools and datadriven decisionmaking processes.
Establish key procurement metrics and dashboards to enhance transparency and reporting.
Mandatory Requirements Qualifications & Education
Bachelor s degree in Procurement Supply Chain Management or a related field.
CISP/CPSP certification is required. Strong understanding of procurement processes and their interdependencies.
Proven experience in thirdparty management continuous improvement programs and costcutting initiatives in procurement.
A Master s degree in Procurement Supply Chain Management or a related field is an added advantage.
Experience
A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in procurement management.
Extensive experience in supplier development contract negotiations and thirdparty vendor management.
