About the Role:
As a Technical Consultant ITOM/Observability you will drive technical engagements for ManageEngine s IT operations management and observability solutions. You will collaborate with customers prospects and partners to deliver exceptional presales and consultancy services ensuring seamless adoption of ITOM and observability tools for optimal performance and operational excellence.
This role requires extensive travel more than 80% of the time within the UK and Ireland to engage with customers and partners.
Requirements
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of IT operations management and observability technologies including application performance monitoring (APM) infrastructure monitoring network performance management and log management.
- Tools & Platforms: Handson experience with tools like SolarWinds AppDynamics Dynatrace Nagios Splunk Datadog Prometheus Grafana or similar platforms is essential.
- Cloud Monitoring Expertise: Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch Azure Monitor or Google Cloud Operations tools.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Consulting Experience: Proven experience in a technical consulting role particularly in ITOM/observability domains.
- Presentation Skills: Strong presentation and demonstration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
- UK passport or valid work authorization is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Presales and Technical Consultancy: Deliver indepth product demonstrations Proof of Concepts (POCs) and technical workshops for ITOM/Observability solutions including monitoring and application performance management.
- Customer Success: Work closely with customers to understand their IT operations challenges and implement tailored solutions using ManageEngine products.
- ITOM Expertise: Guide customers in deploying and configuring solutions for infrastructure monitoring application performance monitoring (APM) log management and network performance management.
- Build Relationships: Foster trust with customers and partners by acting as their primary technical advisor and escalation point for ITOM/observability solutions.
- Product Collaboration: Liaise with product engineering and R&D teams to stay updated on features and ensure customer feedback is addressed in future releases.
- RFI/RFP Support: Develop and deliver comprehensive responses to RFI/RFPs providing technical clarity and alignment with customer needs.
- Industry Representation: Represent ManageEngine at industry events user groups and conferences to showcase our solutions.

Requirements 3-6 years of experience in solution consulting or a similar role, within the SaaS industry specializing in CRM or customer experience products. Proven track record of successful solution delivery to enterprise clients. Strong understanding in SaaS industry especially working on products including but not limited to CRM, Helpdesk software, its implementation, and its impact on customer engagement and business processes. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a client-focused environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a consultative approach to addressing client needs. Fluency in English and French is mandatory for this role Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend conferences, and lead engagements.
