As a Cardiac Physiologist you will play a vital role in the diagnosis treatment and management of patients with cardiovascular diseases. You will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to perform a variety of diagnostic tests and procedures including electrocardiograms echocardiograms stress tests and Holter monitoring. In addition you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting test results preparing reports and communicating findings to the medical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of diagnostic tests and procedures to assess cardiac function including electrocardiograms echocardiograms stress tests and Holter monitoring.
Monitor patients during procedures and provide support and reassurance as needed.
Analyze test results and prepare reports for the medical team.
Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients.
Educate patients on their condition treatment options and lifestyle changes to improve their cardiac health.
Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records.
Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of equipment and report any issues to superiors.
Stay current with advancements in cardiac technology and techniques.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Cardiac Physiology or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Physiologist.
Certification from a recognized professional organization such as the American Society of Echocardiography or the British Society of Echocardiography.
Knowledge of cardiac anatomy physiology and pathophysiology.
Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients.
