Job Description
Associate Attorney (Health Care)
Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a globally renowned law firm with over 500 attorneys and 1000 employees. We are assisting them in their search for aJunior Associate for the Health Care and General Privacy Counselinggroup.You willadvise clients on a wide range of privacy matters including developing privacy policies and procedures drafting consent forms and notifications and providing general privacy counseling. The ideal candidate will contribute to the firms ongoing success in serving leading technology and life sciences companies across diverse sectors.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- 2 4 years of experience in health care privacy and privacy law in general.
- Understanding of health information privacy laws (e.g. HIPAA CMIA state laws like the Washington My Health My Data Act and Nevada SB 370).
- Familiarity with consumer privacy laws such as the CCPA GLBA FCRA COPPA and the FTC Act.
- Knowledge of international privacy laws including the EUs GDPR.
- Experience with general technology and data flow issues.
- Experience drafting privacy policies negotiating privacyrelated contracts and conducting privacy compliance assessments.
- Exposure to AdTech is a plus but not required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Top law school credentials with excellent academic performance.
- Active CA BAR membership or eligibility to waive in.
- Detailoriented and demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically.
- Strong oral written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented fastpaced environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Salary: $230000 $300000
