Job Description
As the Maintenance Technician you will play a pivotal role in the daytoday maintenance operations of the Engineering Team ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently to maintain the property and hotel operations at peak performance. The role involves handson execution of duties related to the repair and upkeep of the propertys plant equipment and machinery including mechanical hydraulic and other systems.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly introduce yourself and consistently provide exceptional service. Support colleagues across various departments and teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain fixtures and fittings in public areas and guest rooms ensuring the hotel is kept to the highest standards of presentation and functionality.
- Carry out general room and preventative maintenance inspections with a focus on enhancing the guest experience and maintaining our commitment to excellence.
- Utilise the Maintenance Request System and liaise with Engineering team and other Departments on requirements of jobs and tasks whilst ensuring tasks are completed within adequate timeframes.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience working in hotel or resort settings is preferred.
- Experience in operating a variety of equipment including small hand tools.
- Demonstrated experience in general building maintenance engineering and/or construction.
- Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays as required.
- Must have valid Australian Working Rights.
