JD for Business System Analyst 6925:
Minimum of 79 years of experience in business analysis within IT environments with a proven track record of delivering successful IT projects. 7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting a finance organization with an emphasis on project management.
Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g. JIRA Confluence MS Visio) and familiarity with systems architecture databases and software development life cycles (SDLC).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Strong analytical abilities with a knack for identifying issues proposing solutions and driving results. 7 years of experience with Oracle Applications; Oracle EBusiness Suite version R12 including GL SLA and FA. Working with custom applications in the accounting area is a plus.
Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
As a Senior Business Analyst (IT) you will act as the bridge between business units and the IT department to ensure that technological solutions align with business objectives. Candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements creating detailed documentation and supporting the design and delivery of IT projects that enhance operational efficiency and improve business outcomes. Candidate will focus on production support and release management as well as day to day operational support of the Oracle Enterprise Business Suite. They should possess strong communication skills needed to translate user problems into business requirements. Qualified candidates will be well versed in the technical infrastructure of EBS as well as understand all phases of the SDLC. Candidates should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. This individual contributor role is a dynamic and highimpact position designed to place you as the primary liaison between the Akamai Finance and the internal Financial and Corporate Systems team plus other Engineering teams. You must be able to apply accounting skills in business analysis requirements gathering solutions design and implementation processes improvements documentation testing change management reporting to management and training to implement business processes and applications.
