Your Role as a Graduate LSA:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Work closely with subject teachers to support differentiated learning for students of all abilities including those with additional needs.
Assist with the preparation of learning resources and help students with their academic progress during lessons.
Support students social and emotional development encouraging positive behavior and selfconfidence.
Help track and monitor student progress providing feedback to teachers and parents where necessary.
Support students in developing key skills and a positive attitude towards learning.
Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Who Were Looking For:
Degree qualification (in any subject) with a passion for working in education.
Experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring mentoring or previous LSA experience) is preferred but not essential.
A patient empathetic and proactive approach to supporting students in their learning.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students.
A keen interest in developing a career in education and working towards a teaching qualification in the future.
An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
