Your Role as a Computer Science Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging and accessible Computer Science lessons adapting content for diverse learning needs.
Use innovative teaching techniques and digital tools to inspire students in the field of technology.
Work closely with SEN specialists therapists and teaching assistants to support student progress.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment encouraging creativity and problemsolving.
Assess and track student progress providing tailored feedback to help them succeed.
Encourage students to explore coding software development cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
Promote digital literacy and computational thinking equipping students with essential future skills.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop an exciting and evolving Computer Science curriculum.
Who Were Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with experience as a Computer Science Teacher at secondary level.
Passion for technology and computing with the ability to engage and motivate students.
Strong communication and adaptability skills to support students with additional needs.
Experience in SEN alternative provision or differentiated teaching is desirable but not essential.
A creative and innovative approach to teaching Computer Science.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
