About the School:

About the Role:
- Teach German across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5 depending on experience and interest.
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
- Use a range of teaching methods and resources including authentic materials technology and collaborative activities to bring the German language and culture to life.
- Assess student progress set targets and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys.
- Contribute to the departments curriculum development and resource creation ensuring that our German curriculum remains relevant and engaging.
- Foster a love of German language and culture in students encouraging them to explore the Germanspeaking world and develop their intercultural understanding.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in MFL education.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS or equivalent.
- Possesses excellent subject knowledge in German language and culture.
- Demonstrates a passion for teaching Modern Foreign Languages and a commitment to student success.
- Has strong communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
- Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum for MFL.
- Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
