Location- This is a Tri-County Itinerant position likely based out of our Greene Township location with an anticipated majority of Early Intervention services in Erie County.

Start Date: 2025-2026 school year limited days in the Summer until August In-Service
Salary: Bachelors: $63830 Masters: $65971 Masters 15: $67385 Masters 30: $69097 (based on number of post graduation credits)
Work Days: 187 work days per school year 37.5 hour work week.
PTO: 10 paid sick days 3 Personal Days 2 Emergency Days per school year (based on start date)

III. Position Overview:
Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit (IU5) is seeking applicants for 7 full-time itinerant Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to provide a majority of Early Intervention services in Erie County. The goal of an SLP is to provide remedial services to students with speech language voice fluency or hearing disorders with the outcome of improving expressive/receptive communication and attain the necessary speech and language skills.
IV. Required Qualifications:
Candidates can be in their Clinical Fellowship year; however must have their PA Educational Specialist Certificate School Speech and Language Pathologist PK-12 or be in the process of obtaining that certificate.
V. Essential Functions:
- Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
- Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs interests and abilities of the students.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
- Prepare for classes assigned and show written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate superior.
- Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required.
