French & German Teacher Leatherhead
Opportunity in Modern Foreign Languages
A thriving secondary school in Leatherhead seeks a talented and enthusiastic French and German Teacher to join their dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department. This is a fulltime permanent position offering a chance to inspire students and contribute to a successful and supportive team. The successful French and German Teacher will be passionate about languages.

Candidate Profile What Were Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching both French and German at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Key Stage 5 experience is highly desirable.
- Native or nearnative fluency in both French and German.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A proven ability to motivate and engage students.
- A commitment to fostering a love of languages.
- A collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
- A dedication to ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities Your Role:
- Planning preparing and delivering highquality French and German lessons.
- Differentiating instruction to cater to a range of abilities.
- Regularly assessing student progress and providing feedback.
- Maintaining accurate student records.
- Creating a positive stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborating with other MFL teachers.
- Contributing to the development of the MFL curriculum.
- Communicating effectively with parents/guardians.
- Upholding all school safeguarding policies.
