Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Mathematics Teacher to join our excellent school community in Lichfield. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mathematics a commitment to delivering highquality lessons and the ability to inspire students at KS3 KS4 and KS5 to reach their academic potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative mathematics lessons to students across KS3 KS4 and KS5 focusing on fostering a deep understanding of mathematical principles.
- Develop and implement a mathematics curriculum that encourages problemsolving critical thinking and application of mathematical concepts in reallife situations.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments offering constructive feedback to enhance learning.
- Create a positive inclusive and challenging classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the mathematics department to share best practices contribute to departmental goals and participate in continuous professional development.
- Maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians keeping them informed about student progress and school events.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- A teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at KS3 KS4 and KS5 level.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and the ability to teach a wide range of mathematical topics including algebra geometry and statistics.
