Job Description
Join our forwardthinking school in Stoke on Trent as a Computing Teacher. We are seeking an innovative and passionate individual to teach Computing at KS3 to KS5 and help students explore the exciting and everchanging world of technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and relevant Computing lessons across KS3 KS4 and KS5.
- Design a curriculum that fosters critical thinking problemsolving and a love of technology.
- Monitor and assess student progress through a variety of methods providing regular feedback.
- Create a positive and dynamic classroom atmosphere that encourages students to explore their interests in Computing.
- Collaborate with other departments to share best practices and support students technological development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Computing Computer Science or a related field.
- A teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Computing at KS3 KS4 and KS5.
- Strong knowledge of programming digital technologies and software development.
