Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Business Teacher to join our thriving academic community in Solihull. The ideal candidate will have a passion for business education a commitment to fostering entrepreneurial thinking and a drive to help students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging business lessons to students at KS4 andKS5.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages critical thinking realworld applications and a strong understanding of business concepts.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students helping them to grow and refine their business skills.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students can explore their entrepreneurial interests and business acumen.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a dynamic and forwardthinking business department.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians keeping them informed of student progress and school events.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching business at secondary school level is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of business theory and practice with the ability to teach at KS4 and KS5 levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to pursue careers in business and develop essential life skills.
