Computer Science Teacher

An innovative secondary school in Kingston upon Thames seeks a passionate and skilled Computer Science Teacher to join their thriving Computing/ICT department. This is a fulltime permanent opportunity to inspire the next generation of tech experts and contribute to a dynamic learning environment. We require a dedicated Computer Science Teacher.
YOU:
- Qualified: Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
- Experienced: Have a proven track record of teaching Computer Science at Key Stages 3 and 4. (KS5 experience is a definite plus!).
- Skilled: Are proficient in programming languages (e.g. Python Java C).
- Passionate: Demonstrate a genuine love for Computer Science and education.
- Organized: Have excellent classroom management skills.
- Collaborative: Enjoy working as part of a team.
- Driven: Are committed to your own professional development.
YOUR ROLE:The Computer Science Teacher will be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons.
- Adapting your teaching to meet the needs of all students.
- Assessing student progress and providing regular feedback.
- Keeping accurate records.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Working with colleagues in the Computing/ICT department.
- Helping to develop the Computer Science curriculum.
- Ensuring the safe and effective use of computer equipment.
- Communicating with parents/guardians.
- Following all school safeguarding procedures.
