Job Summary:
The Corporate Development Intern will work closely with the Corporate Development team to assist in executing strategic projects evaluating potential investment opportunities and supporting corporate growth initiatives. The intern will be involved in market research financial analysis due diligence processes and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct research on industry trends competitors and potential acquisition targets.
- Prepare market and competitor analysis reports to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Assist in identifying potential business partners acquisition opportunities and joint ventures.
- Financial Analysis & Modeling:
- Assist in the financial analysis of potential acquisitions partnerships and investments.
- Help build and maintain financial models for M&A or investment opportunities.
- Analyze financial statements forecast models and help prepare valuation assessments.
- Due Diligence Support:
- Assist in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions or strategic partnerships.
- Review documents and gather relevant data related to business operations financials and legal matters.
- Help prepare presentation materials for senior management.
- Strategic Initiatives & Project Support:
- Collaborate with internal teams to support strategic projects and initiatives.
- Assist in preparing strategic recommendations and reports for executive teams.
- Contribute to the development of business cases for new projects or investments.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for all corporate development activities.
- Support the preparation of internal and external reports presentations and memos.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration:
- Work closely with teams across finance legal operations and other departments to execute corporate development projects.
- Provide assistance with internal communication and coordination of initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Current student or recent graduate in Business Finance Economics or a related field.
- Strong interest in corporate development mergers & acquisitions and business strategy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (experience with financial modeling is a plus).
- Strong analytical research and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
