Job Description
Job Title: Sr Java Developer
Onsite 5 days a week
Location : Riverwoods IL
Length of Assignment: 812 months w/ possible extension
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the practice of TestDriven Development (TDD) including the design of Unit Integration Functional and NonFunctional Tests (reliability performance and cyber security).
Utilize strong fundamentals in Java and APIfirst design to develop scalable and efficient software solutions.
Understand and implement modern architecture and design patterns particularly Microservices.
Work with Spring Kafka containerization DevOps and CI/CD to build robust applications.
Maintain and manage databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL.
Apply cloud experience especially AWS to enhance application performance.
Leverage frontend technologies with a focus on React JS to create engaging user interfaces.
Required Skills:
Extensive experience in Java Java Spring Boot and Java Microservices.
Proficiency in OCP (OpenShift Container Platform) and CICD Pipelines.
Strong knowledge of Kafka and React JS.
Demonstrated expertise in Test Driven Development (TDD).
Indepth understanding of modern architecture and design patterns including Microservices.
Experience with Spring Kafka containerization DevOps and CI/CD.
Familiarity with database management (Oracle PostgreSQL) and cloud services (AWS).
Proven ability to design and implement Unit Integration Functional and NonFunctional Tests.
